Aionis Holdings LLC ("Licensor", "we", "us", and/or "our"), together with Kore Logics LLC acting as the authorized reseller, onboarding, implementation, and Level 1 support provider for Chronis, is committed to protecting your privacy and earning your trust. This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices for personal information we collect when you use or access Chronis products, services, features, content, or related offerings, whether through the Chronis marketing website located at getchronis.com, the Chronis login portal located at chronis.app, or any related application, interface, or service provided under the name "Chronis" (collectively, the "Services").

Changes To Our Policy

We may, in our sole discretion, change this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version through the Site or Services, including on getchronis.com. If we make any material change to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice through the Site, Services, or other contact information associated with your account before the change becomes effective, as required by applicable law.

Information We Collect

When you interact with us through the Services, we may collect personal and other information from you. This includes information you provide to us directly, information collected about you automatically, and information obtained from third parties that you or your company connect to Chronis.

Identifiers, such as name, business address, email address, phone number, account username, online identifiers, Internet Protocol (IP) address, device identifiers, and similar identifiers.

Employment and account records, such as employee ID, title, department, schedule information, timekeeping records, attendance records, compensation or wage-related information you or your company choose to provide, and other workforce management information submitted through the Services.

Billing and financial information, such as payment card details, billing address, transaction history, and subscription-related payment information.

Commercial information, such as plan details, purchase history, add-ons, implementation records, onboarding activity, and engagement with the Services.

Information from third parties, such as personal information stored with payroll providers, accounting systems, POS systems, or other integrations that you choose to connect to Chronis. By linking your third-party accounts, you authorize the Chronis Parties to access and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any applicable agreements.

Internet, device, and browsing activity, such as browser type and settings, operating system, device type, application version, log data, session activity, and similar usage information.

Usage data, such as interaction with the Services, page views, clicks, feature usage, crash reports, system activity, timestamps, and referrer URLs.

Information you provide to us when interacting with our customer support, implementation, onboarding, sales, or account management teams by email, phone, chat, support ticket, or other correspondence.

Geolocation information, where permitted by device settings and applicable law, for features such as geofenced clock-ins, attendance validation, and related timekeeping functions.

Inferences, including information about usage patterns, preferences, workforce management needs, or feature interests derived from your interaction with the Services.

When you interact with the Site and Services, we may also receive and store certain information that does not presently identify you directly. Such information may be stored by us or by our affiliates, agents, or service providers, and may be used in combination with other information to understand overall usage of the Site and Services, improve performance, and support legitimate business operations.

How We Use Your Information

We collect and use your personal information as reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the Site and Services. Your personal information may be used for the following purposes:

Provide onboarding, implementation, customer support, training, and account assistance when you contact us.

Ensure network and information security and prevent abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity.

Process payments, collect fees, manage subscriptions, and administer billing.

Support integrations with third-party systems, such as accounting, payroll export, and POS-related tools.

Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, maintain records, and protect our rights and property.

For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or otherwise permitted by law.

Lawful Basis for Processing

Where applicable law requires us to identify a lawful basis for processing, we may process personal information under the following legal bases:

Contractual Necessity. We process personal information to perform the contract we have with you or your company, including providing the Services, processing payments, sending service notices, and responding to support requests.

Legitimate Interests. We process personal information for our legitimate interests, including improving and developing the Services, protecting against fraud and abuse, administering customer relationships, securing the platform, and analyzing usage patterns to improve user experience.

Consent. Where required by law, we process personal information based on your consent, including for certain marketing communications, certain cookies or tracking technologies, or other processing activities where consent is required.

Legal Obligation. We process personal information to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements, and to respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or governmental authorities.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your personal information for the following purposes:

With the Licensor, Kore Logics LLC, and their respective affiliates, contractors, and personnel, as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, improve, and administer the Services.

With service providers and subprocessors that help us provide, maintain, secure, support, improve, market, or bill for the Services, including hosting, authentication, support, analytics, communications, and payment-processing providers. These parties are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide services to us or on our behalf.

With third-party integration partners, at your direction or as necessary to enable integrations you choose to activate, such as payroll export, accounting, POS, or other connected services.

If required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of the Chronis Parties, protect the safety of users or the public, or protect against legal liability.

In aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified form for analytics, benchmarking, maintenance, research, security, product development, or other lawful business purposes.

As part of a corporate transaction, such as a sale, merger, acquisition, reorganization, dissolution, financing, or similar event, where personal information may be among the transferred assets.

Other than as stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as permitted or required by law. Notwithstanding anything in this Privacy Policy to the contrary, the Chronis Parties reserve the right to collect, use, retain, disclose, license, sell, or otherwise commercialize de-identified or aggregated information obtained from use of the Site and Services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Exclusions

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal information collected through the Site and Services. It does not apply to unsolicited information that you provide to us through public forums, support feedback not intended to remain confidential, or other unsolicited submissions ("Unsolicited Information"). Unsolicited Information may be treated as non-confidential, and we may reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information without limitation, subject to applicable law.

Children's Personal Information

The Site and Services are intended for business use and are not designed for persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the Site or Services from persons under the age of 16. If we learn that personal information has been submitted by a person under the age of 16 in a manner not authorized by a parent, guardian, or account owner acting lawfully, we may take steps to delete that information as soon as reasonably practicable.

We will take reasonable steps to update, remove, or correct information in our possession, consistent with applicable law and our verification procedures.

Declining To Share Your Information

You may decline to share certain personal information with us, in which case we may not be able to provide some features or functionality of the Site or Services that depend on that information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any rights you may have under applicable law, except to the extent the exercise of those rights limits our ability to provide Services that reasonably require such information.

Rights for California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under California law, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit certain processing of personal information, and rights related to sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, subject to applicable exceptions. We will not retaliate against you for exercising rights available under applicable California law. We may require information sufficient to verify your identity before responding to your request.

Rights for Canadian Residents

If you are a Canadian resident, we intend to handle personal information in a manner designed to comply with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA where applicable. Subject to verification and applicable exceptions, you may request access to personal information in our custody or control, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing, and inquire about our use, disclosure, and cross-border transfer of personal information. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site and Services.
